Abstract

Animal husbandry is one of the most risky business activities. Larangan sub-district is one of the sub-districts in Pamekasan Regency which is the largest producer of broiler chickens. These are as are divided into two categories, namely independent breeders and partnership breeders. The purpose of this study was to compare risk factors and risk levels in partner and independent broiler farms. Methods of data analysis in research, using fishbone and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis). The results of the analysis show that there are several differences in risk factors for chicken farming between partner and independent breeders. The highest production risk for partner breeders is disease-stricken chickens, while for independent breeders, chickens are attacked by disease and feed prices are expensive or fluctuating.
